Ed undergoes a checkup in the Briggs fortress where the dangers of automail and cold weather are explained, Buccaneer, the man who attacked them previously has his arm changed and Al’s head removed from it. Specialised automail is needed for these weather conditions.
The episode starts with a scene from Suou’s past where she is in a competition with Nika as to who can hold their breath longer underwater. When Sasha declared her the winner instead of Nika they started splashing eachother. It then quickly changes to Misaki swimming lengths and meeting Madame Orielle when she gets out of the pool. They talk about the Mitaka documents briefly and due to her she was able to get some new information.
Back to episodic Gintama with the first half of the episode about Hijikata visiting a mayonnaise factory and the second half about the Yoruzuya exterminating wasps.
The FSB go over the information about Suou’s house, the extent that her father went to hide Shion and that the memories that they extracted from his corpse were insufficient, an agent arrives with a photograph that proves that Dr Pavilchenko is still alive and has been sighted in Tokyo.
The second backstage pass is up this time Mao’s VA, Ikuya Sawaki joins Hidenobu Kiuchi and Kana Hanazawa who voice Hei and Suou respectively.
This should fill in the gaps between the first and second seasons, and looks sure to be four episodes of Hei being badass and Hei and Yin shipping material. The Amber lookalike is kind of surprising as well so I wonder how that will work out.
The episodes will be distributed via the even numbered DVD/Blu-ray volumes.
