Nurarihyon no Mago: Sennen Makyou PV

It’s good to see them highlighting the old characters as well as the new ones and among the new shows airing next season this is one of the ones that I’m looking forward too (among the many). Studio DEEN may have done a decent job with the first season but what this season should cover is where the story really hits its stride, I’m just wondering how many episodes it’s going to have since I can’t see two courses being enough to cover to the end of the Kyoto Arc well. It would probably need around three to do that, however Studio DEEN could still surprise me.

That said I’m still looking forward to seeing Hagaromo Gitsune being the best villain in the series so far and whether she’ll still be voiced by Mamiko Noto (her drama CD voice actress, and a particularly good one at that). Also, is that Keiji Fujiwara I hear as Rikuo’s father, Rihan?

I’m so excited to see this~~
It seems like this second season will cover the more important part of the story.

It will, Gyuuki and Tamazuki may have been all right but it’s with Hagoromo that the story reaches it’s highpoint, she’s the first “evil” villain in the story and overall Shiibashi really did an amazing job with the Kyoto Arc (his art was god tier for something in Shounen Jump). It may waver a bit towards the end but each point leaves you wanting more.

His way of incorporating the types of side characters that would usually be forgotten in a shounen story was also excellent. It made a point that Rikuo had to carry them with him instead of leaving them behind.

i’ve been too busy and lazy to watch anything lately…gotta work through my massive backlog before next season starts XD
i have like 50+ hours of watching to do…

I know that feeling, my backlog might not be as much as yours but there’s still quite a few shows I’m a few episodes behind in, plus all the other things that seem to keep piling up.
Anyway, good luck with it, this season has been a good one so far.
