As the wave caused by C makes it’s way around the world it hits the North American Financial District and is repelled by an intervention by the FED like it has done before, flinging it right back at Japan. And with C approaching once more Souichiro doesn’t hesitate to activate the Rotary Press a second time.

Three hours before the event known as “C” the board of the IMF met to discuss the impending calamity and as they acknowledged that it could happen at any time, Singapore was erased.

As the situation worsens in the Southeast Asian Financial District, Souichiro warns his fellow guild members to make preparations for “C”, with Shindo Tomo explaining that before the Lehman Shock there was land in the Caribbean Sea known as the Caribbean Republic, however with the collapse of the South American Financial District it vanished from existence.

During the first half of this episode we’re shown a closer look at what we already know of Souichiro’s past, beginning with his father pressing his belief that money is power, the power that makes the world go round.

While Jennifer takes a shower she listens to the man who will be Kimimaro’s next opponent, Sennoza Kou on a talk show and following this Kimimaro and Msyu are shown in a Deal with a random opponent and win with ease.

As the episode begins members of the Mikugiri guild engage in their deals by winning by a small margin, which Souichiro explains is to lessen the effect the Financial District has on the real world. To do this though the key to controlling the Deal is a complete understanding of one’s abilities.

As their two assets face off Kimimaro remembers how his teacher brought his wife to class once, pregnant with their third child.

As the episode begins the woman seen in the Financial District in the previous episode, Jennifer Satou talks about the possible origins of the Financial District, dating back to the middle ages. While she may have visited the Financial District at least 51 times only 11 of those were for deals, choosing to observe them more often.

Kimimaro arrives at the Financial District with Masakaki who explains some of the responsibilities and goings of being an Entrepreneur, the main of which appears to be that they must participate in a Deal at least once a week. In which they will battle another Entrepreneur to increase their “stocks”. The sight of a newcomer also draws a lot of attention, so Souichiro decides to make a bet with Q.
